Taunton Venetian Blind Co., a downtown business at 27 Main St., is closing after 76 years as owner Don Hotte retires and the family prepares to leave the location.
Mayor Shaunna O’Connell presented Hotte with a citation of appreciation recognizing the company’s long tenure in the city, according to a community announcement. Don Hotte’s son, Chris Hotte, joined family members during the recognition ceremony honoring the business and its decades of service to local customers.
