PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Rhode Island’s primary elections will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, but residents have just a few more days to register to vote or change their party affiliation.
The deadline for both is next Monday, Aug. 10.
Rhode Islanders who are eligible to vote can register online or stop by their local board of canvassers’ office. If you’re planning to go on Monday, be sure to check the hours ahead of time since that is a state holiday.
