EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WJAR) — A Pat’s Pastured farm truck was destroyed after catching fire on Route 4 Saturday morning, scattering debris across the highway and forcing the road to temporarily close.
The fire broke out around 7 a.m. while the truck was carrying products from the East Greenwich farm to the Hope Street Farmers Market.
The driver noticed flames, pulled over and was able to safely get out of the truck before calling 911…
