WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WJAR) — A local business replaced the wheelchair ramp at a Woonsocket church on Friday after it was stolen last month.
According to Pastor Henryk Wos of Our Saviour’s Parish PNCC, the ramp was stolen between the night of Aug. 19 and the morning of Aug. 20.
Mobility Equipment Recyclers of New England, located in North Kingstown, reached out to the church after learning that the ramp was stolen.
“Very disheartening, to know that someone would do that,” Andrew Celani, the general manager, said. “We saw the story, and it just made total sense for us to step in and help.”…
