BACKGROUND: Why more doctors are switching to ‘concierge medicine’
Warwick State Representative Marie Hopkins joined 12 News at 4:30 to discuss the current bills being heard at the State House in support of concierge medicine and what they aim to do.
Hopkins shares that doctors are turning to this type of practice because they can’t pay their overhead bills due to low reimbursement rates from insurance companies.
