EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. — It was not what Lauren Malloy was hoping for.
More than three years after her mother’s body was exhumed, Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha issued a long-awaited report on the cause of her death.

Neronha’s report concluded that “there is no evidence establishing [Lori Lee Malloy]’s death as a homicide.”
“But what’s missing from [the report] is that — there’s no evidence stating that it’s not a homicide,” Lauren said.
