WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — A major runway project at T.F. Green International Airport is changing flight patterns – and residents say they are hearing and feeling the difference.
The Rhode Island Airport Corp. began rehabilitation work this month on the airport’s primary 8,700-foot runway, known as Runway 5-23. The project includes milling and resurfacing the pavement, along with upgrades to runway lighting, electrical systems, signage, and pavement markings.
