PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Providence police said they responded to multiple swatting calls on Friday.
According to police, they received a report of a possible person with a gun near the Amical Mutual Pavilion and Rhode Island Convention Center.
Police said a similar report of a possible person with a firearm was reported in the area of La Salle Academy on Smith Street.
Officials said they investigated both areas, and no credible threat was identified…
