Soggy Sunday expected across Southern New England

After being spoiled earlier this week with several days in the 70s and 80s, it’s time to return to seasonal levels for this time of the year. Unfortunately, these temperatures that feel cool to us will also be accompanied by low-level clouds and a bit of drizzle because of the east/northeast wind that is pulling moisture in off the Atlantic Ocean.

Even though the forecast leaves a lot to be desired, it is better than what Mother Nature has to offer on Sunday as a cold front brings showers to the forecast.

Rain is expected to move into Southern New England after 8 AM. From that point forward, showers will be intermittent with the occasional period of some “drier” weather. Toward the afternoon, a bit more forcing in the atmosphere…..
