CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — With the on-ramp in Cranston still closed after bridge debris fell onto the train tracks below, drivers are being urged to follow detours as crews assess the damage.
While the tracks have been cleared, the Rhode Island Department of Transportation said crews are working “around the clock” to reopen the ramp and do not anticipate the closure to last longer than a week.

In the meantime, drivers who normally take Route 10 North to I-95 North will need to find another route for Monday morning’s commute. RIDOT said they should continue on Route 10 to the I-95 ramps in Providence.
