EAST GREENWICH, R.I. (WPRI) — Main Street in East Greenwich will remain closed into Monday evening as firefighters work to stabilize the brick façade on a historic East Greenwich building.
The East Greenwich Emergency Management Agency said firefighters were called to the Masonic Building after receiving reports that the brick façade was starting to separate.
Firefighters confirmed that the brick façade was unstable and at risk of falling off the building and immediately closed down Main Street to assess the damage. The Warwick Police Department assisted by bringing a drone to get a closer look…
