Controversial mural in downtown Providence still up after removal decision

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — It has been nearly a month since officials announced that a controversial mural of Iryna Zarutska in downtown Providence would be removed. Yet the unfinished display remains standing.

The building’s owners say the delay isn’t for a lack of trying, and one owner is now threatening to take matters into his own hands.
