Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn, III has announced an investigation related to the death of an 8-month-old infant over the weekend.
Taunton Police received a 911 call regarding an unresponsive infant at 1472 Somerset Avenue at approximately 11:40 p.m. on Friday, 4/24/26.
Upon arrival Taunton Police and EMS located an unresponsive 8-month-old male infant that was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The infant was then med flighted to a Boston hospital where he was pronounced deceased at approximately 9:20 am on Saturday, 4/25/26.
