At 11:43 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid for Tuesday between noon and 10 p.m. for Middlesex, Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Bristol, Plymouth and Barnstable counties.
The weather service informs, “Southwest winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and some power outages may result,” adds the weather service. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
