CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — A janitor at a Cranston school was arrested Monday night after he was allegedly found under the influence of drugs, 12 News has learned.
Police were called to Garden City Elementary School around 9:45 p.m. for a report of an employee who had passed out inside the building.
According to the police report, 38-year-old Shane Gavin was observed to be high, with slurred speech and enlarged pupils. He was “not making much sense,” police said, and he told the officers he felt lightheaded…
