WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — Warwick city leaders announced Friday $4.4 million in federal funding was secured for the Rocky Point Park Gateways Improvement Project, but residents expressed concern about interference from a proposal for a nearby housing development.
“This gateway project will improve access and safety, beautify the area, and create an entrance worthy of the history and of this waterfront destination,” said Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi.
