NEW YORK (PIX11) — The Department of Transportation has dropped a limited-edition street sign for sale, seemingly for “absolutely no reason.”
The DOT released signs for Knickerbocker Avenue on Wednesday for any fans of the beloved street that runs through the heart of Bushwick and no other reason at all.

Clearly, the DOT has Knicks fever just as much as any other sect of New Yorkers ahead of Game 1 of the NBA Finals Wednesday night.
According to the DOT online store, this Knickerbocker Avenue sign is a re-release and is going for $100. The signs are handmade in Queens.
