NY power failure leads to ‘treated discharge’ spill into Hudson River

NEW YORK (PIX11) – Sewage has spilled into the Hudson River in New York, according to health and environmental officials, who confirmed to PIX11 News on Friday.

A power failure at the Yonkers Joint Wastewater Treatment Plant caused “treated discharge” to enter the river, officials say.
