Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman thanked President Donald Trump on Saturday for visiting the county’s police training facilities a day earlier, crediting Trump’s border security policies with helping drive down overdose deaths in the county.
Blakeman, the Republican challenging Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul in New York’s gubernatorial race, made the comments during an appearance on Newsmax’s “Saturday Report.”
