Inside the $65 Million Penthouse Atop the Tallest Tower on N.Y.C.’s Upper East Side

A two-story penthouse perched atop the tallest building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side has hit the market, and it’s asking a sky-high $65 million. Within the lofty, 850-foot-tall Sutton Tower at 430 East 58th Street, the palatial Penthouse 80 comes with five bedrooms and six full bathrooms designed by New York City-based starchitect Thomas Juul-Hansen-also behind the Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills. Interestingly, the limestone-clad skyscraper marks a first for the award-winning Danish designer, and the development itself is a modern homage to the neighborhood’s opulent Gilded Age history.
