Overnight temps prompt freeze warnings in NY, NJ

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Freeze warnings are in effect for areas surrounding New York City as the temperatures drop Monday night.

For Long Island, areas north of the city and New Jersey, temperatures will struggle to hit the 50-degree mark on Tuesday after plummeting to the freezing mark early Tuesday morning.
