The bar and brewery that helped give a foodie development early momentum will close this week after six years in business.
Mordecai Beverage Company, a small brewery and bottle shop, announced this week that it would close its doors, setting an open-ended final date as the last kegs and shelves run dry.
“It has been an incredible honor and privilege to serve this community for the past six-plus years,” owners Andrew and Megan Christenbury wrote on their website. “When we first opened our doors, we could never have imagined the friendships, memories, and overwhelming support that would come our way through every high and low along the journey.”…
