Wake County residents will have a chance to review and comment on draft plans and maps for the Neuse North area at an upcoming in-person community meeting .
The drop-in style meeting will be held Wednesday, June 24, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at New Hope Fire Station No. 2, 4909 Watkins Road in Wendell. Registration is optional.
“This interactive meeting gives community members an opportunity to learn more about current planning efforts and share their ideas directly with County staff,” said Safiyah Jackson, vice chair, Wake County Board of Commissioners. “Public input is essential as we plan for future growth while preserving the area’s character and natural resources.”…
