Sheriff’s Office investigates shots fired

On Wednesday, June 3, around 8 p.m., deputies of the Wake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shots-fired call in the 9100 block of Fayetteville Road, near Raleigh. When they arrived, there was no victim on the scene, and witnesses were unsure if someone was shot. Deputies searched the area nearby to find a possible victim, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

After further investigation, it has been determined that the man involved in the incident was not shot, according to WCSO.

There was a reported altercation between two men when a gunshot was heard. The people involved have been identified and there is no known threat to the community…
