RALEIGH — North Carolina Attorney General Jeff Jackson and Wake County Sheriff Willie Rowe are warning residents about a jury duty scam that has resurfaced in Wake County.
According to state and local officials, scammers are calling residents and posing as law enforcement officers. In some cases, callers are using the names and badge numbers of actual deputies to appear legitimate.
