Wake leaders pick new site for library being pushed out of school

Wake County leaders have chosen a new site for a library being forced out of its home by renovations at a southwest Raleigh high school.

The Wake Board of Commissioners on Monday approved a plan to buy land across the street from the school for a new Athens Drive Community Library, officials said.
