An Oxford man was arrested last week on statutory rape and other felony charges.
On Wednesday, June 24, around 3:10 p.m. the Oxford Police Department in conjunction with the Durham County Sheriff’s Office conducted an arrest operation after an investigation conducted by the Oxford Police Department led to the issuance of arrest warrants for statutory rape and other felony offenses against a minor. Kilo Gonzalez-Renteria, 37, was taken into custody without incident on U.S. 70 in Durham County, according to the Oxford Police Department.
