Morrisville man charged with attempted murder in Greenville shooting

GREENVILLE, N.C. — A 20-year-old Morrisville man is facing multiple felony charges after charging documents state he was involved in a June shooting that left one person seriously injured.

According to online arrest records, Nasir Jy’Quon Baker was arrested by the Greenville Police Department on July 4 in connection with the incident, which allegedly occurred on June 28.

Baker is charged with:

  • Attempted first-degree murder
  • Assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury
  • Discharging a weapon into an occupied property
  • Felony conspiracy
