CARY, N.C. (WNCN) — Thousands of residents in Cary were left without power in the extreme heat Thursday.
According to Duke Energy, a helicopter conducting aerial vegetation management for railroad operations caused damage to powerlines impacting four substations and a transmission line in Cary.
