The Wake County Sheriff’s Office has charged a woman with felony animal cruelty.
On Friday, Sept. 11, deputies were called to assist Wake County Animal Control with a report of an alleged animal cruelty case in the 600 block of Pendleton Lake in Raleigh. When deputies arrived at the home, they located three deceased dogs, according to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office. Animal Control removed two additional dogs and three cats from the property.
Deputies arrested and charged 66-year-old Karen Tupman with three counts of felony animal cruelty and three counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty, the sheriff’s office said in a press release…
