Gas prices across North Carolina are continuing to climb, and drivers may be facing even higher costs at the pump in the coming days.
The statewide average for regular unleaded jumped about 8 cents overnight Wednesday, reaching approximately $4.12 per gallon, according to AAA. Over the past week, prices have risen nearly 22 cents.
