LeToya Luckett, a two-time Grammy award winner and former Destiny’s Child member, is scheduled to visit North Carolina Central University (NCCU) on March 28. She will participate in the Leadership in Entertainment and the Arts Program (L.E.A.P.) Talk Symposium at the NCCU Student Center Event Hall. This event is open to the public.
Luckett has established herself in the film and television industry, with roles in ‘Greenleaf,’ ‘Rosewood,’ ‘Ballers,’ ‘Single Ladies,’ ‘Treme,’ and ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan.’ She has also featured in the reality TV series ‘Friends & Family Hustle.’
The L.E.A.P. program, developed by NCCU alumnus and Grammy-nominated artist Marcus Anderson, provides NCCU students with insights into the entertainment industry. The program combines face-to-face interactions with industry leaders and online learning.
Media representatives are invited to the L.E.A.P. Talk Symposium and can interview LeToya Luckett on March 28, from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. To schedule an interview, they must complete a form by March 26, 2024.
