The Tar Heels changed quarterbacks, replacing Conner Harrell with Jacolby Criswell, depended on Omarion Hampton’s powerful 210-yard rushing performance that included three touchdown runs, and finally broke open a 17-10 game in the fourth quarter to improve to 3-0 on the season.
