RALEIGH, N.C. – The Flagler College men’s and women’s track team finished their three day meet at the Raleigh Relays this afternoon, hosted by North Carolina State University.
Flagler sent two women’s athletes in Zoie Marchant and Abby Misch as well as five men in Will Stone, Kaleb Hollins, Luke Larkin, Finn Russell and John Carbone to the meet. Spanning across three races, the Saints competed in the 800 meter, 1500 meter and 5000 meter. Facing a plethora of power five, Division ! Institutions, the Saints faced schools such as University of Michigan, University of Virginia, University of Tennessee and University of Alabama.
Competing in the 800, Misch and Marchant faced 178 finishers. Leading the pack was Misch who ran a 2:12.22, earning her 75th. Marchant placed 106th in 2:13.87. In the 1500, Marchant shined with a new personal best 4:33.22, placing her in 136 out of 219…
