RALEIGH, NC – The Iona University men’s and women’s outdoor track teams wrapped up competition on the final day of the Raleigh Relays, hosted by North Carolina State University, on Saturday at Paul Derr Track & Field Facility in Raleigh, NC. All three Gaels competing on Saturday were running in their second race of the weekend.
MEN’S 800-METER RUN
Junior Aiden Coles led the men’s outdoor track and field team in the 800-meter run, placing 53rd overall in 1:51.98. The performance marked Coles’ fourth-fastest time in the event and his first outdoor 800-meter race since the 2024 MAAC Championship. Coles’ personal-best mark in the event came two years ago at the Raleigh Relays.
Freshman Reiss Marshall also competed for the Maroon & Gold in the event, finishing 90th in 1:53.30.
WOMEN’S 800-METER RUN
Freshman Arabella Dickfos turned in a time of 2:15.44 in the women’s 800-meter run, placing 132nd overall. Dickfos’ effort moved her into Iona’s outdoor track and field record book with the 13th-fastest 800-meter performance in program history, placing her on the program’s Top 25 list.
