Giant Pig Becomes Unlikely Local Celebrity In North Carolina

While most people were checking the forecast for their Tuesday commute last week, residents of Durham, North Carolina, got an unexpected alert: partly cloudy with a chance of giant pigs.

As it turns out, local animal services are trying to locate a very large, elusive hog. According to a social media post from the Durham County Sheriff’s Office, this “ham-bassador” has achieved what they’re calling “absolute unit” status, and is currently “living his best life on the lam.”

The porcine prowler has proven to be quite the escape artist, staying one step ahead of animal control officers despite their best efforts — including the classic “herrrreeee piggy piggy piggy” approach, which authorities confirmed has already been attempted…
