Reno River Festival takes over all of Idlewild Park for expanded event

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Reno River Festival is back and bigger than ever this weekend. The three-day festival will feature 30 live musical acts on two stages, including two of the biggest headliners in River Fest history – Everclear and The Calling.

Jess Horning, owner and co-founder of Liquid Blue Events, stopped by Morning Break to share what guests need to know about this music and carnival event happening May 29-31 in Idlewild Park.

New this year, there will be mechanical rides, food and craft vendors, drink lineups, a new coed softball tournament and a new dog jog. All of that on top of the usual professionally guided whitewater rafting tours with IRIE, a drink tour featuring samples of local craft beer and canned cocktails, River Fest’s 18-hole Bucket Golf course, the Bark Park featuring pet adoptions with Boxers and Buddies, the rubber duck scavenger hunt, yoga, kickboxing and art experience…
