Ready, set, ride: New grant program boosts off-highway vehicle access in Bureau of Land Management areas

MOON ROCKS, Nev. (KOLO) – The Foundation for America’s Public Lands, the Bureau’s charitable partner, and Polaris, a global leader in powersports, unveiled a sign for Moon Rocks as the kickoff to their grant partnership to fund off-highway vehicle access, safety, and riding experience on Bureau of Land Management land nationwide.

“It is astounding to see all of these partners, including the Foundation, Polaris, and all of the volunteers coming together to enhance the Moon Rocks Recreation Area,” said Kim Dow, Associate State Director of the Bureau of Land Management Nevada. “Without their support and dedication, Moon Rocks would not be what it is today. It is a great demonstration of the Northern Nevada community’s dedication and support for our public lands.”
