Hot August Nights is just the beginning of a monthslong stretch of classic Boomer-era music.
Thanks in large part to the classic car, classic rock festival, some legendary recording artists are hitting the stages in Reno, Sparks and Carson City. That includes the mid-’60s Motown sound of The Temptations and Diana Ross, all the way through to 1980s-era Top-40 staples Bonnie Raitt, Air Supply and Taylor Dayne.

Hot August Nights
The annual car event includes national touring music acts, including Latin soul/rock group War at Victorian Square (Aug. 6) and these Downtown Reno headliners: Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone (Aug. 6), Tommy James and the Shondells (Aug. 7), and Blood Sweat and Tears (Aug. 8).
