RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Crystal Hallock and her family lost their home for the second time to a fire when the Hawk Fire moved down Peavine Mountain toward their house on Aug. 22.
“Well, this was our home for eight of us. And, I mean, it was everything, everything for our grandkids,” Hallock said.
Hallock and her family lost their home in an electrical fire in 2018. She said they only had enough time to escape with the clothes on their backs, losing everything, including a few of their animals that they were unable to evacuate in time…
