Driver arrested for DUI after fleeing Golden Valley crash

WASHOE COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) – A 64-year-old man has been arrested for driving under the influence after fleeing the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Golden Valley, according to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded on Saturday, October 4th to the crash on East Golden Valley Road, just past Opal Station Drive.

While deputies were responding, they received word that one of the involved drivers had left the scene, the Sheriff’s Office said. The person that called them then followed the vehicle and provided updates to dispatch, helping deputies quickly locate the driver…
