Some of the most prominent corporate names in the 21st century – Apple, Google, Microsoft, Switch – have planted their flags in Tahoe Reno Industrial Center or nearby locations. A spate of newcomers – Tract, EdgeCore, Novva, PowerHouse, Colovore, Vantage – have followed, turning Northern Nevada into one of the nation’s hottest markets for data center development.
In 2025, the greater Reno-Sparks area was ranked fifth globally as an emerging data center market in Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Data Center Market Comparison.
