VMHC to host IllumiNATION immersive experience for America’s 250th

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — An immersive video art experience at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture (VMHC) is bringing the American story to life later this month.

IllumiNATION, a video art projection set against the museum’s historic facade, will bring the VMHC campus to life with a full day of festivities just in time for America’s 250th birthday. The four-day event, which takes place from June 25-28, will feature shows, local bands, art displays, cultural demonstrations, crafts, games and more.

6-9 p.m.: Family-friendly block party
