RICHMOND, Va. — Roughly 30,000 Dominion Energy customers remain without electricity across Virginia after powerful storms moved through the Commonwealth Sunday. That number is down from nearly 79,000 on Sunday evening.
Roughly 50,300 customers were without power in Central Virginia as of 7:30 p.m., according to Dominion Energy. Most of those outages were concentrated in Henrico, Hanover, New Kent and Richmond. That number had dropped to just over 16,000 as of 11:45 p.m. Sunday.
