Affordable housing development hosts ribbon cutting ceremony on opening day

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A new affordable housing development opened its doors with a ribbon cutting ceremony in Richmond’s southside on Thursday.

The 10-acre project called “Foundry Creek” is one of the newest efforts to tackle the area’s affordable housing crisis. Spy Rock Real Estate Group and Crescent Development partnered on this effort, receiving $92 million in financing from Bank of America.
