RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Parking restrictions and road closures are going into effect ahead of the Richmond Folk Festival this weekend.
Some road closures and parking restrictions near the festival area in Richmond’s Gambles Hill neighborhood went into effect on Wednesday, Oct. 6, and will continue through Monday, Oct. 12. Most road closures and parking restrictions will run from Friday, Oct. 9, to Sunday, Oct. 11.
The following roads will be closed and parking will be prohibited at the listed times:
- Oct. 6-12 from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
- Spring Street between S. 2nd and Belvidere Streets
- Oct. 9-11 from 4 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
- E. Byrd Street between S. 2nd and 7th Streets
- S. 2nd Street between the Lee Bridge off-ramp and E. Byrd Street
- S. 3rd Street between E. Canal and Byrd Streets
- S. 4th Street between E. Canal and Byrd Streets
- S. 5th Street between E. Canal and Tredegar Streets
- Tredegar Street between S. 7th Street and the Belle Isle parking lot
- S. 10th Street between Haxall Point and the Federal Reserve Building
