RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond’s popular specialty grocery store, Yellow Umbrella , has announced it will continue its expansions with a new location in the Libbie Mill neighborhood.
In addition to the store’s grocery offerings — including a wide selection of locally sourced provisions, seafood and meats — Yellow Umbrella also serves quick and easy meals at the store’s “Lunch Counter.”
“Yellow Umbrella’s offerings of house-made prepared foods and quality meats and seafood will resonate with both residents and professionals in the area,” said co-owner, Thomas Brown. “Libbie Mill’s central location right off of Broad Street and Staples Mill, and proximity to 64, with plenty of parking made it an attractive expansion location for us.”
Most of the same provisions from the flagship location will be offered at the new store, along with hot lunch offerings such as house-made soups and made-to-order paninis.
