Police searching for motorcyclist who fled from trooper in Virginia

VIRGINIA — Virginia State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a motorcyclist who fled from a trooper during a pursuit that began in Henrico County and continued into the city of Richmond.

According to state police, the incident occurred around 6:08 p.m. on Friday, April 17, when a trooper attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a motorcycle traveling east on Interstate 64 near the Glenside Drive exit. The driver did not stop, leading to a pursuit.

Authorities said the motorcyclist exited I-64 at Glenside Drive and traveled onto West Broad Street before continuing into Richmond’s Museum District. The pursuit was later terminated after the trooper lost sight of the motorcycle…
