RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — After a HVAC system failure caused flooding at Richmond High School of the Arts (RHSA), students will be finishing their school year from home.
The weekend of Saturday, May 16, RHSA’s current building flooded due to a HVAC system malfunction, per officials.
The decades-old building, once known as George Wythe High School, was originally built in 1960. School officials had only planned to use it for a short while longer, as students were set to move to a brand-new campus next door early in the 2026-27 school year…
