A police shooting left a person dead and a police officer injured in San Bernardino overnight, authorities confirmed.
Not much about the incident was known at first. Preliminary information indicates officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of North California Street, not far from the 210 Freeway, just after 11:40 p.m. Friday. The reason that police were called was not immediately verified.
